WE ARE SUPPORTING VULNERABLE PEOPLE ACROSS THE UK AND PAKISTAN

Help people, families and communities in need.

Major cities of Pakistan are in lockdown due to COVID-19 spread, hardest time for the whole community. We need to ACT NOW to feed these people

We are a group of volunteers who have begun giving nourishment packs to these workers in the Lahore. One nourishment pack can take care of a group of 4-5 for an entire month. We've understood we need a great deal of help as there are a large number of such individuals searching for help. For one family it will incorporate flour, rice, cooking oil, lentils, milk, sugar, flavors, cleaning items and £ 30 worth of money.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

In order to provide continued support we are working with our partners in Pakistan to help us prepare for even more difficult times during the lockdown.

We have managed to support thousands of families in the last few days by offering moral support and advice on Coronavirus, contacting vulnerable people and providing care and food packs.

Hundreds of volunteers will be working on the ground to prepare and distribute food packs and other essential items to families in need.

With only £30 a pack, you can help us provide one family with an essential supplies box, containing a variety of items such as:

Essential food products: flour, rice, cooking oil, lentils, milk, sugar, flavors, cleaning items and £ 30 worth of money.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Coronavirus continues to spread across the world and experts have predicted millions could be affected in the future, with many possible death cases. This is already having an impact on everyone’s daily life. Can we even imagine how hard it is for vulnerable, exposed communities to deal with such circumstances?

Experts recommend avoiding large crowds, stockpiling shelf-stable foods and working from home when possible. While this advice may be adequate for those who can afford to work from home, for too many people living on low income this is not even an option. Many low-income children rely on free or reduced school breakfasts and lunches for their daily nutrition, meaning their families will have to provide these meals when schools close down. At the same time, low-income parents cannot afford child care for extended, unpredictable periods of time. Not only are the elderly the most vulnerable to the dreaded coronavirus, but they are also amongst the lowest paid group of people. They are the least able to stock up on groceries and supplies. As shelves are being emptied, it is the elderly and the new-borns who will suffer the most in our communities.

Help us support those who raised us and those who will carry on our legacy.
